Annual general meeting of members

The ancient hero Hercules faces the choice between virtue and lust. Fortunately, we do not have to make this choice today, and as the Göttinger Händel-Gesellschaft e. V. we are able to provide full support for the Festival: both passionately and virtuously! We share our enthusiasm for Handel's work, we share the certainty that early music is also capable of providing new impetus. And: we share this with the city, the region, the world. We awaken the spirit of the Festival and the joy of cultural life, in Göttingen as well as in southern Lower Saxony. We support “our” Festival in a special way, both ideally and materially.
