This event is all about young talents and creative concert formats, the rediscovery of early music combined with the overwhelming emotion and excitement of competition. Now in its eighth year, the göttingen händel competition invites young musicians from all over Europe to earn their laurels by impressing the jury and, of course, you, the audience. Last year, the Israeli Nari Baroque Ensemble won both the main prize and the special prize “Music and Space”. The Polish trio Régence sonore and the Basel quartet Tra Noi were also honoured. Both ensembles will perform again at this year’s Festival. One thing is already certain for the 2025 competition: it’s going to be exciting!
