Prizewinners’ Concert

Music is experienced with all our senses. What memories we retain, depends largely on the space in which a concert takes place. Since 2022, the special prize “Music and Space” has been awarded as part of the göttingen händel competition. The late baroque St. Mark’s Church in Scheden is the perfect stage for captivating sound-space experiments. St. Mark’s also houses an exhibition on the flute virtuoso Johann Joachim Quantz, who was born in Scheden in 1697.
