Readings, Wine & Music
What do literature, wine and music have in common? They all stimulate the senses. Which of these pleasures do you prefer? Here you can find out. In
collaboration with the Deutsches Theater, the Festival invites you to a feast for the eyes, ears and palate at the traditional Bremer am Wall winery.
Oboist Daniel Lanthier and lutenist Marco Baronchelli have joined forces to offer a sensitive interpretation of great works in an intimate duo setting.
The two Baroque experts have created a musical bouquet of excerpts from Handel’s Fireworks Music as well as less frequently performed Baroque compositions such as the oboe sonata by the Englishman William Babell. Babell’s virtuoso arrangement of Handel’s aria Lascia ch’io pianga rounds off the program.
