Sing Along Service

It is as multifaceted and multi-voiced as the city itself: the Tageblatt-Choir. Göttingen residents gather here to sing together in the run-up to the Festival and to convey a joy in music that is truly infectious. The Sing Along service has become a Festival tradition and is aimed at all those interested and amateurs. Anyone who wants to make music together can and should apply for the Tageblatt Choir. Excerpts from Handel’s Solomon will be rehearsed. The oratorio offers a wealth of vocally rich choruses.

This year’s performance will be conducted by “Mr Handel” himself: George Petrou, Artistic Director of the Göttingen Handel Festival.
